Our clients sought to preserve the charm and character of their home while updating a period-specific bathroom to include modern amenities. Their wish list included heated floors, a custom-tiled shower, and a heated towel warmer.

Built in 1911, the home presented unique challenges, particularly as the bathroom had undergone several renovations over the years. Once we stripped away the layers of the previous updates, we discovered the need to raise the bathroom floor by several inches to align it with the primary bedroom.

Wherever possible, we restored original elements to honour the home’s history while integrating the desired modern features. We successfully delivered a beautiful and functional space that seamlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary comfort.
